We contracted with Tristate Barn Builders because we were impressed with the quality of the construction of the structure we toured which they built, and because Amos immediately understood our concept for a relatively unusual stable for this area – stucco construction, high-end finishes, a significant amount of complicated detail work, and with an apartment on a second floor to accommodate stable management staff. Not only was Amos able to put our vision to paper – in the process of construction he and his team did an exceptional job (on budget and on time) with the construction, while still offering sound and aesthetically pleasing improvements to the building and finishes in the process. 

Amos and his entire crew are highly skilled, hardworking, professional carpenters who continually offered valuable advice in the process, and rightly took great pride in the end product.   The team’s professional skills impressed us so much that we also asked them to add on to the contract and they also completed the more detailed carpentry, work finishing out the cabinets and the trim carpentry and moulding work  in the tack room, feed room and apartment. So impressed were we with the stable and apartment, that we also contracted with Tristate for the construction of a unique post and beam horse run-in shelter, a large heavy equipment shed, two-car garage, and a hay storage garage with additional storage space.

Amos has an established a group of sub-contractors which he has chosen to affiliate his company with, all of whom share his principled and honest approach of offering his clients the high-quality products and construction at reasonable prices.  This list includes the fabrication of custom stable doors, stall systems, specialized footing systems, stall mat installs, Dutch doors and windows fabrication, concrete work, painters etc.

TriState, headed by Amos Stoltzfus, just built a most appealing, high quality and practical 18,000 square foot indoor riding arena and attached apartment for us at Cabin Branch Farm.
